Thinking this way could lead you down the wrong path and you may be unable to find your way back. Plan ahead with goals to ensure desired effects in long run. Having a goal allows you to have more control over your life. It will keep you going in the right direction and keep you from taking the wrong path. With a goal, you will have a clearer view of the destination you are heading in your journey. This will give you more time to plan for whay you really need in your life.

In preparing the path to your goal, you will decide which things should be done first and avoid other tasks that may not need to be done anytime soon if even at all. You avoid wasting time. With clear goals and tasks for that goal prioritized in importance, you will be efficient with your time and reach your goal quicker.
3. You Will Be Making Better Decisions
When you decide and plan what your goals are in the beginning, you will be making better decisions in the long run. You can determine better where there needs to be an adjustment somewhere in your sequence of tasks or if you need to back track at some point and change parts of your long-term goal.

When you have laid out the tasks and prioritized them to complete your goal, you will save a lot of time from guessing, procrastinating or wondering what to do next. You have already laid out the plan and will be busy fulfilling your dreams.
